Voltaris takes battery packs at the end of their automotive life and rebuilds them into containerised storage for distribution grids. Eleven substations in Flanders run on their units today, absorbing midday solar peaks that would otherwise be curtailed. The company works with two DSOs and assembles in Ghent.
